Move your snoozed tabs to zzzTab

If you already snooze tabs with another extension, you don’t have to start from zero. Save your tabs in a CSV file and bring them in. It takes about a minute.

The three steps

  1. In the other app, save your snoozed tabs in a CSV file.
  2. In zzzTab open Settings and go to “Import & export”.
  3. Drop the file, look at the preview and click Import.

What the importer does for you

  • Understands CSV files from other tab snooze apps, and zzzTab’s own.
  • Finds the columns by their names, in any order. A file without a header row works too.
  • Reads dates as day-month-year, in your time.
  • Skips the tabs you already have, and repeated ones in the file.
  • The tabs already past due open one by one.
  • The file is read in your browser: it is never uploaded anywhere.

You see a preview first, so nothing is imported until you click Import.

After importing

Open “Sleeping” in the popup to see everything in one list, sorted by when it comes back. From there you can open a tab now, change its time or remove it.

zzzTab can also export your list (as CSV or JSON) whenever you want a copy, and it keeps an automatic backup before every update, with a “Get it back” button.

If something doesn’t look right

The dates look wrong

zzzTab reads dates as day-month-year. If your file uses month-day-year, fix the date column before importing; the preview shows what will be imported.

My file is not recognized

Check that it is a plain CSV with a link (URL) column for each tab. Title, date and note columns are optional, and the columns can be in any order.

Will it duplicate tabs I already have?

No. A tab with the same link and the same time as one already in your list is skipped.

Is my file sent anywhere?

No. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.

zzzTab is independent and not affiliated with other apps.
