What is a repeating tab?
A normal snoozed tab comes back once. A repeating tab comes back, and then zzzTab schedules the next time right away, so it keeps returning on its own: every week, every weekday, every month.
It stays in your list, so you can see when it comes back next.
How to make a tab repeat
- Open the page you want to see again and again.
- Click the zzzTab icon.
- In the box, type a phrase that starts with “every” (for example “every friday 5pm”).
- Check the day and time zzzTab shows you, and press Snooze.
- When the time comes the tab opens, and the next time is already scheduled.

What happens when it comes back
The tab opens in its window and its group, with your note over the page if you left one. Then the next time is calculated from that moment, so a repeating tab never opens twice in a row.
If Chrome was closed, the tab opens when you open Chrome, once, and then waits for its next time.
If the address can’t be opened any more, zzzTab tries a few times, skips that time and waits for the next one.
Change it or stop it
Click “Sleeping” in the popup to see everything that is asleep. From there you can open a tab now, change its time, or remove it. Removing it stops the repeats.

How do I stop a repeating tab?
Open “Sleeping” in the popup and remove it from the list.
What time does it use if I don’t type one?
Your morning time, which you can change in Settings, under “Advanced”.
